Midtown Atlanta

This is where the locals enjoy a great meal, walk in an amazing park, take in a show ... you name it. This is where the action is, day and night.

If you only have a few hours or a day to explore Atlanta, you'll probably want to spend your time in and around Midtown -- our most vibrant entertainment district.  Of course, there are all the typical tourist destinations.  But if you're anything like me, and you prefer to experience a place the way locals do... go to the restaurants and destinations they enjoy... Midtown is where you can walk, scoot and MARTA train your way around to accomplish that! You also don't have to spend a fortune. And, if you find you need to get away from the city hustle and bustle, head over to Piedmont Park and relax by the lake or watch the dogs play.

If you crave being in the middle of the action, there are condos, townhomes and single family options starting in the high 100s.  A typical condo/townhome buyer plans to spend $300 - $400k, while house hunters looking for a single family home are considering options in the $600 - $800k range.

The High Museum of Art and Woodruff Arts Center are located in Midtown. Additional info on the arts community can be found here.

Midtown Alliance is a non-profit community organization that can best help direct you to the latest and greatest event if you are looking for something to do in the ATL.
